Now that Gaston Browne, as finance minister, has investigated his friends who got all those expensive Ford Broncos and other vehicles, nobody will be prosecuted.

Systemic bypassing of procurement rules and use of politically connected dealership got a slap on the wrist before Election Day, and the corruption will resume if ABLP is returned to abuse power.

This is good for Housing Minister Maria Bird Browne, who, when asked last November about the latest corruption scandal, blurted out, “I will not resign.”
