The United States Postal Service has confirmed that the Caribbean Anticorruption Association letter to Attorney General Todd Blanche was indeed received at the U.S. Department of Justice.

Gaston Browne denied – with having no way of knowing – that the letter had been received.

The Caribbean Anticorruption Association, an ad-hoc group, tells us that it emailed the letter to Blanche on April 21.

The postal tracking number, shown above ending in 3705, records that the package was picked up by an individual at the Washington DC post office with the Zip code 20530.

The 20530 Zip code is unique to the U.S. Department of Justice.

The 3705 tracking number is identical to the one on the postal label of the letter to Blanche, shown before it was mailed, dated April 21. See the following photo of the image taken by the U.S. Postal Service as part of the delivery confirmation:

The Caribbean Anticorruption Association sent an identical letter to the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) at the U.S. Department of the Treasury on the same day.

Its tracking number, as shown on the label, ends in 3729, and was sent to the post office with the Zip code 20229.

The U.S. Postal Service confirmed that that package, with the tracking number ending in 3729, was picked up at the 20229 post office. See the image below.

The 20229 Zip code is reserved for the Office of Customs and Border Protection, formerly the Bureau of Customs that was part of the Treasury Department before being transferred to the Office of Homeland Security. However, that office retains duties tied to the Treasury Department.
